Deal to reform EU plastic waste exports to developing countries

EU lawmakers have settled on stricter rules for shipping waste, in a deal to reform the Waste Shipments Regulation, with a ban on transporting waste to another member state for disposal, alongside an export prohibition for plastic scrap to non-OECD countries
